Family Matters is about musings on family and life. I hope to provide some tips and hints on how to search for ancestors in a family tree, while also reflecting and celebrating family life.

I have been interested in family history since doing a class assignment in elementary school. My grandfather sent me a long handwritten letter with a booklet of old black and white photos. Since then I have been curious about the past and who my ancestors are.

I started this blog as a social media class project. I am not an expert in family history, and the views and opinions expressed are my own.
